Artist Talk & Sharing
Kwentong Bayan will talk about their involvement at Pride in solidarity with Queer & Trans Migrant Workers and Live-in Caregivers and support an intentional community dialogue about the political roots of Pride - from the first march to the recent Black Lives Matter protest.
We will also launch two publications: “Drawn To Change: Graphic Histories of Working Class Struggle” featuring Kwentong Bayan’s comic on the history of the Live-in Caregiver Program and “Chimpoy Champoy” an instructional ‘zine on Filipino Street Games by Althea Balmes and Kat Estacio. Join us for discussion, community art-making and learn some Larong Pinoy games!
